Michael Badnarik wins the USLP Presidential nomination
Here is his website. I must admit I've never heard of him, but I'd only heard a bit about Aaron Russo, the candidate backed by the few Libertarians I'm still in active contact with.
I guess I should be happy that there still is a US Libertarian Party...the Canadian party imploded some years back, and to the best of my knowledge is not active any more.
Update: Thanks to Chris Myrick for the pointer that the Libertarian Party of Canada still exists. Or, more accurately, exists again according to Canadian election officials.

Were you able to find a list of the candidates that the Libertarian Party of Canada are running in the up coming Federal election?
Nicholas, I caught your note at Damian's site. My apologies, I've lifted the restrictions on posting comments.
Clive, as far as I can tell, the LPC doesn't have a slate of candidates available. Right now, its website has a messageboard section seeking potential candidates. ( http://www.spe-edi.com/lpc/ )
I would think they'd be far too late to get any candidates registered and on to the ballot at this point in the election. Back when I was involved in the LPC, we tried to have as many candidates lined up as we could long before the writ was dropped, but it appears that the party had been in limbo for so long that no amount of scrambling was going to get them back before this election result is history. IMO, YMMV, etc.
Chris, thanks for the response! Best of luck with your blog...and I hope you find this one worth reading occasionally.
