The concern is that the sudden busted appearance really is sudden: it was working last night for the reader who first reported the issue and was broken this morning. I made no changes (really . . . nothing changed except that I added a single post over the reported elapsed time), but now the blog doesn't display correctly in Opera and IE. When I first looked at the main page after the issue was reported, it was broken in all three browsers, but after a refresh in Firefox, it was working there properly. No, I don't think so. I just backed out those changes, and it hasn't fixed the problem. I didn't make changes to any other template file or the CSS, so returning the Category template to its pre-bustulated condition should have undone the damage. But it hasn't.
